We help brands win the battle for attention. The internet has changed: traditional ads are no longer just ignored, they are skipped. In the short-form era, your brand cannot just talk at people. You have to invite them to participate.
Shahnanigans began as a creative studio in 2019, specialising in Augmented Reality (AR). We spent years figuring out exactly what makes a person stop scrolling, interact with a brand, and share it with their friends. Our work has been seen over 40 billion times and has powered over 50 interactive global campaigns.
But we realized that for most businesses, views are not enough.
Today, we have evolved into a social-first creative studio. We combine our deep technical knowledge of AR with high-impact vertical video production to build content that invites engagement. We don't just chase viral moments. We build repeatable plans that turn social media into a reliable engine for growth.
We operate from our West London studio where we bridge the gap between "that looks cool" and "that actually worked.”
Whether we’re deploying gamified filters or launching full-scale interactive activations, our goal is consistent: ensuring your brand doesn't just survive the scroll, but thrives in it!

Shahwali also known as Shah, is the brains behind Shahnanigans, blending creative technology, storytelling and strategy into work built for attention, interaction and real-world results.
What started as an early obsession with augmented reality quickly turned into a studio producing campaigns and helping brands experiment with new formats long before they became mainstream.
His work moves between commercial and cultural spaces. One day he’s designing TikTok effects or directing short-form video campaigns; the next he’s teaching emerging creatives at the Royal College of Art or developing experimental digital artworks.
That crossover between art, education and industry shapes how I approach every project at Shahnanigans.
